Northampton, Northamptonshire

Allocation secured for 224 dwellings in the Part 2 Local Plan which was adopted in March 2023, with a detailed planning application due to be submitted in summer 2024.

Bellway Strategic Land entered into an Option Agreement with the landowner in summer 2021. Following the promotion of the site through the Northampton Borough Part 2 Local Plan, the site secured a formal allocation for 224 dwellings in March 2023, within two years of Bellway Strategic Land taking the site on.

Now the principle of development has been successfully established, Bellway Strategic Land, working in conjunction with its Northern Homes Counties division, are preparing a detailed planning application for the site which will be submitted in autumn 2024.

On what is a technically challenging site, Bellway Strategic Land has been working closely with the Environmental Agency, West Northamptonshire Council and utility providers to ensure the early delivery of this prime residential site located in close proximity to Ladybridge County Park in Northampton.
